This website actually started off as pages in my blog in 2008. I usually scanned the newspapers and Internet for scholarship info between November and June, and post those info on the blog. Later in mid 2010, I linked the blog with Facebook and Twitter as well. Since my blog covers various topics, I guess it was just a matter of time before I moved the Education Help section to a new location. Thus, this site was launched on 12.30am, 21st February 2011.
The motivation for this initiative came from remembering the difficulties I (and other students) faced while studying in university. We didn't have much access to Internet those days. Had to rely on newspapers and notices pasted on Student Affairs Department notice boards. Sometimes, we find out that application forms were given out based on "hidden agendas"; the person in charge was on leave, etc. I guess in this age of connectivity, those ways are not acceptable. Its good that organisations are moving towards online application and downloadable forms. Makes life much more easy for students.
I would like to clarify that this site is not affiliated with any education institutions, nor does this site promote any such institutions. The site does not receive any payment/contribution from anyone other than the nominal income (if any) derived from advertisements via Google Ads and Nuffnang.
How you can help - suggest any scholarships or loan that is not listed in this site.

hi, unfortunately, many scholarships are for locals (citizens only). you should check with UKM and also your embassy/high commission for scholarships related to your country of origin.
I am a student doing 2nd year degree programme at UKM.Due to my nationality , that I am not a Malaysian ; many loans ,grants and scholarships are not meant for me eventhough many times I know Iam eligible .Its because I have local qualifications just like any other Malaysian student .Dear sir , Im in desperate need for financial assistance to continue my studies .Looking forward for your reply .Thank you .

Hi,
the scholarship is listed here:
http://www.eduhelp.my/v1/index.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=sobi2Details&catid=4&sobi2Id=57&Itemid=68
can you provide more info so that we can update the scholarship details.
Jobs guaranteed.
i guess the best place for getting info is your current organisation or the uni/college you plan to study at. also, if you are studying locally can try MOE's Mybrain15 program. if your studying part time, you get grant for the fee, and if you are unemployed but studying full time, you can get monthly stipend. refer to the sidebar on this website for MyBrain15
I am a degree holder in business (CGPA 3.70), currently is working (2Years) and planning to continue study for Master in Business/Economy/Finance.
Can you recommend any company could provide scholarship?
Thanks
Thank you for the feedback
For currently open ones, you can refer to the sidebar. At the moment there are 39 for application, and few more will be added in coming week.
More scholarships will be announced around SPM/STPM results date, so do be patient
There's more than 200 listed but do note, its a mix of grants, partial scholarships, full ones, loans. And for different groups of students.
BTW, if you click on "search for scholarship" on the menu (Next to Latest News),it will take you to the list of open scholarships, but the display is 4 per page.
We are in midst of upgrading the website but expect to finish in 2-3 months time.
