Apply for UPU IPTA 2013 Intake!

1. Application is open from 7 January 2013 until 15 April 2013 (which means SPM results should be out around 3rd or 4th week of March). Don't forget to get PIN number from Bank which costs RM10.60 for SPM leavers and Rm15.60 for STPM/Matric/Diploma leavers. You can refer to this document : http://upu.mohe.gov.my/portal/epanduan/panduan_bsn.pdf on how to obtain the PIN number.

2. Note that application for IPTA, Politeknik Premier, Politeknik, , ILPs, and Kolej Komuniti are done using the same process. Not sure what is IPTA, Politeknik premier etc means? Refer below.

Permohonan kemasukan ke program pengajian di Politeknik Premier bagi Lulusan SPM adalah melalui Sistem Permohonan Kemasukan Pelajar bersekali dengan permohonan IPTA.Permohonan Kemasukan Ke Politeknik Premier melibatkan 3 Politeknik iaitu :-

4. Note that USM is handling its own applications, so you have to apply separately for USM at https://pohon.usm.my/ and is open until 14 April 2013. Refer to this link for details: USM 2013 Application is open!

5. Not sure about the courses and their requirements? Do check your kelayakan (qualification) for the IPTA you choose at this link: http://imascu.upu.mohe.gov.my/ (available after 14 January due to maintenance)

6. Please be aware of the following constraints:

non-bumiputra SPM Leavers: Can apply for all diploma programs, Asasi Sains Pertanian at UPM and all Asasi programs at UPNM.

bumiputra SPM leavers: can apply all diploma and asasi programs at all IPTA/TEVT.

SPM leavers cannot apply for bachelor degree programs.

STPM/Foundation/Matriculation/Pre-U/Diploma holders: Can apply for Bachelor degree programs.

7. The UPU application can be only once, but you can edit it up to three 3 times. After that, your application will be final. For some of the courses, you may be required to attend interview after being shortlisted. Be aware of such requirements!

all,if not most, scholarships expect you to maintain a certain level of results. obviously, if you are not able to, your scholarship may be suspended or revoked, and in most cases, you will be asked to payback. the jpa perdana scholarship is worth about rm1 million, so govt will expect you to study well. in my opinion, if you are a hardworking and passionate students intent to do medic, it should not be a problem. the chance to study in well known place should be good enough motivation.

if you get place in ipta, sure you can reject jpa (though not many will do that!). and it wont affect your jpa scholarship application in future.

its hard, but not impossible. for vet studies, you need to get good results in STPM/matriks. that's all.

overseas can - if you secure scholarship or have funds. need to see which scholarships are applicable. most are closed. some scholarships may offer for degree only, so you have to self fund the pre-u.

they can actually,some local universities allowed the candidates for an enrollment those without MUET ,MUET is compulsory but its compulsory for degree graduates not for diploma or foundation leavers, dIPLOMA leavers can sit for MUET once they registered for degree or while they doing their degree.. that's for sure, To those who got registered for MUET that will be held by This July,you may send your printed out paper of MUET Registeration along with you documents. No need to be sad over.. Best Of Luck

good results, so you can apply. Did you apply? chances are there for you to get a place. but remember they don't take in many diploma levers.

you have good results. did you apply for MARA loan? matrikulasi? UPU asasi? also check out the scholarships still open on the sidebar of this website.
you can consider some of the IPTS who may offer scholarship for foundation level.
